Hi all, Randall here with PlaceOfClocks.com. So, here I am trying to decide how to increase our websites presence by focusing on Home Decor. After all, in this new electronic age, we have clocks everywhere. The microwave, stove, TV, Computer and even in our back pocket (that’s where I keep my cell phone). So it is not about time anymore, but rather about finding a clock that enhances our home or office.
Sounds like a good thought. Hope it is….Anyway, in my search I drove out to visit Dan Pogue at his Art Gallery and foundry, located a few miles east of Marble Falls, Texas on Hwy 1431. Here is a picture:

As I walked into the front door, I glanced to my right and was absolutely floored!
Sitting on the floor of a small room was this fantastic mud mold for a horse…..HUGE!
With detail that amazed me. At first, I could not figure out how it could possibly have gotten there….or how they would get it out…..I have posted a picture of it below.
The art work in the foundry is truly incredible and I don’t want to leave out the fun I had going over all the bronze sculptures and other works displayed. But honestly, I was overwhelmed by this horse…If you are in the area, check this out. The foundry is open, 9 to 5, five days a week. The phone number is:
