Economy bad….but we will not give up.

Hi all, Randall here with PlaceOfClocks.com.  As we sit watching the unemployment numbers creep higher and the news casters slump in their seats, it occurs to us that many of the “doom and gloom” self proclaimed prophets don’t get it.  We are Americans.  The economy will cycle….up and down like the tide at the beach, but listen up.  We are Americans.  We will not give up, nor will we slump into some kind of negative, basement mentality.   We just keep working….period.  If that work happens to be looking for a job, so be it.  You will not catch us feeling sorry for ourselves, or slumping in a corner.  We just aren’t made that way.  We believe that anything is possible….and we work.

So, from the Small Business world of clocks here is another look at a designer wall clock from Seth Thomas.  We actually heard about a possible resurgence from this company beginning in January of next year.  I hope so.  Seth Thomas was the first American Clock Maker and it has been in business…since 1813.

We have one of these clocks in our living room.  The Sunflower.  Beautiful chimes with a real wood tone that adds true elegance to our home.
